From the vine to the bottle

Volcanic wines from PDO Lanzarote

Every wine comes from a particular place in Lanzarote: old vines in hollows and trenches, sheltered from the wind by dry-stone walls, in Masdache, in Mancha Blanca or at the foot of the Aganada massif. The island’s traditional varieties —malvasía volcánica, listán blanco and diego— on volcanic ash, made by hand, plot by plot.

Single vineyard

Frías

Listán Blanco

Old vines in pits running along the slope of Montaña del Alto up to the Tizalaya volcano, with Montaña Negra, Caldera Colorada and Montaña Ortiz in the background. The Listán Blanco variety takes the lead, representing this singular landscape.

Bottle of Masdache

Village vineyard

Masdache

What defines the village of Masdache is its wine-growing landscape, full of small pits crowned by the distinctive stone rings. Made with Malvasía Volcánica and Listán Blanco grapes from plots around the village of Masdache.

Bottle of Aganada

Single vineyard

Aganada

Traditional Lanzarote varieties

A bush-trained vineyard, grown on terraces and sheltered from the wind by countless stone walls. This is a vineyard of the Diego variety in the north of the island, in the valley of the ten thousand palms, at the foot of the Aganada massif.
